  7. ¹Andreas Stenhager:

  9. I  received  a  lot of tunes from this
  10. guy, and I have just one thing to say:
  11. this  is  by  far  the  most  talented
  12. musician in the 'scene'.
  13.  
  14. His  melodies are just great; he has a
  15. feeling  that couldn't be better.  The
  16. samples  are  unbelievable;  I  wonder
  17. how.  Even in his old songs, they keep
  18. a good standard.  The sample-rate must
  19. be   close   to  the  max.   They  fit
  20. wonderful  to  each other and give you
  21. the  'aha'-feeling  once  in a second.
  22. He  always know how and when to stop a
  23. solo  and  he  never  gets lost in the
  24. massive jamming.
  25. The  bassline  is  very well arranged.
  26. He never gives us an unnecessary note.
  27. It consists of samples very much alike
  28. but  though  different that gives it a
  29. special  touch  of  nice ambience.  In
  30. the  tune  'Nowhere  Whenever' he goes
  31. loose  with a bassolo; he succeed very
  32. well.   I  can't imagine that no other
  33. Amigamusician ever will be as good!
  34. The  drums  are  well  programmed  and
  35. sometimes when you think that he won't
  36. play them at all, he plays them anyway
  37. in  a  way that makes you go 'oh!' and
  38. at  the  same time make you wonder why
  39. you  didn't think about that.  But the
  40. drums  in  some  tunes  are  not  very
  41. worked  through,  and  that is a shame
  42. because he can if he wants to.
  43. ¶The  chords  and  voices are extremely
  44. well  chosen and very powerful indeed.
  45. Sometimes  he  puts  some extra sounds
  46. into  the  loops, and when others fail
  47. to   make  it  sound  right,  Heatbeat
  48. ofcourse   make   it  the  right  way.
  49. Everything is just soo nice!
  50. Heatbeat  seems to be a fan of sampled
  51. sequences;   in  Rain  Forest  he  has
  52. sampled  a sequence in different notes
  53. and  puts  a perfect leadinstrument to
  54. it;  the only word to describe the way
  55. he  is  doing  it  on  4  channels  is
  56. genius.

  58. A good musician wouldn't be as good if
  59. he  couldn't do experiments.  Heatbeat
  60. succeed   with  more  experiments  and
  61. newthinking   songs  than  the  others
  62. makes ordinary tunes!  I don't think I
  63. have  to say much more; I think you're
  64. clear  about my point when it comes to
  65. my  favorite  who  has  proven  that 4
  66. channels   are  enough  to  make  real
  67. music.  And I think he is the only one
  68. in the scene.
